AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
ALWAYS WASH HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR TATTOO DURING THE HEALING PROCESS
2 weeks NO SUN. NO SWIMMING.
Minimal water first 2 weeks (short showers, never saturate a healing tattoo with moisture)
Keep tattoo wrapped 4-6 hours after leaving Historic Tattoo.
Upon removing temporary bandage, wash GENTLY with lukewarm water and antibacterial hand soap (lather before applying to tattoo).
Once cleaned, pat dry with SINGLE USE PAPER TOWEL.
Once air dry, apply very thin sheen of Palmers cocoa butter covering tattoo fully.
After several hours, and several times daily, repeat this process.
You will notice the need for cocoa butter will decrease and will no longer be needed after day 3-5. Continue to apply a white, non-perfume moisturizing lotion (ex. Lubriderm, Keri, Curell, Vaseline lotion) for additional 3-4 weeks or more as desired.
Take good care of your Tattoo during the healing process, but also afterwards, and you can expect years of enjoyment from your Tattoo.
